Process
Creating your Painted Sacred Space is a straightforward process.

• Call 415-375-0130 now for an initial discussion of your project idea.
• After the initial discussion, you will receive an e-mail with some simple questions about the space you would like to have painted.
• The next step is to meet in your space for an on site consultation. During the consultation, the questions you have answered will be discussed, as well as deciding on a color palette and design theme.
• Color sketches of your space will be e-mailed to you for review.
• A final discussion to review the sketches and make any changes. At this time the project time line can be finalized, and a start date set.

If you are outside of the Bay Area, the process remains largely the same. After the initial discussion you will receive an e-mail with questions, a request for photos and measurements of your space. The consultation can be done over the phone. After sketches, project time line, budget are approved, travel arrangements will be made.
The final color selection will be made once we meet in your space.

Pricing

Each wall painting is unique, and may vary greatly in planning, execution time, and materials. Each space is painted by hand, usually in several layers of paint. Imagine! Some spaces may have 5 or more layers of paint. What this means is that the walls of your room are painted 5 times - the equivalent of painting 5 rooms!

Due to the highly specialized nature of a Painted Sacred Space, the price for each project is calculated individually. Below are some guidelines to help you plan the price of your project. If you have a budget that you would like to work within, please communicate it clearly in your initial contact.

Painting:

• Walls start at $8 per square foot / $26 per square meter
• Ceilings start at $15 per square foot / $50 per square meter

Materials are charged separately. A materials estimate and budget will be agreed upon once the sketches are finalized. In essence, you own the materials. This means you have the materials on hand if your piece ever needs to be touched up.

Travel

Airfare and accommodations are charged separately. If there is more than one client in an area, then the travel costs may be divided among the number of clients.

Driving $30 per hr.

Payment Schedule

1/3 of the total agreed upon project price will be due once sketches are approved and a project time line set.

The balance will be due the day the project is completed.

Policies

All project prices are agreed upon before painting begins. If there are any changes to the design once a Painted Sacred Space has been started the project cost will need to be re-negotiated before the work continues.

If for any reason it seems that your project might run over the agreed materials budget you will be notified immediately. We will review the materials, discuss options, and come to an agreement before more materials are purchased or your budget exceeded.
